The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Christopher Colvmbvs Oct XII MCCCCXCII and the reverse text is Worlds Columbian Exposition in Commemoration of the Four Hundredth Anniversary of the Land of Columbus MDCCCXCII MDCCCXCIII to C. Emmerich & Co. The front side of the coin shows a man standing in the center with hands down to his side and chest pushed forwards, with two men and an inscription behind. The backside of the coin depicts two angels sitting on top of a plaque with a trumpet and a globe, two torches to either side and a boat below the plaque.
