Smith & Hartmann N.T. and the reverse text is The great International Prize Fight between Heenan & Sayers for the Championship of the World fought April 1860. The front side of the coin shows a bust of Thomas Sayers facing the left with circular text surrounding the head above. The backside of the coin depicts a wreath enclosing the 10 lines of descriptive text, with a ribbon tied at the bottom.
