This So-Called Dollar is given the catalog number HK-230

The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Christopher Columbus and the reverse text is 400th Anniversary of the Discovery of America 1492- Oct. -1892. The front side of the coin shows a very rudimentary bust of Columbus in the center surrounded by a border that has several shields. The backside of the coin depicts seven men on a small boat, one carrying a flag as they approach land with a palm tree and three ships in the background.
