The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Pacifica Sterling and the reverse text is Golden Gate Int. Exposition 1939. The front side of the coin shows a tribal of Oceanic head in the center with text above and a small lines of descriptive text below. The backside of the coin depicts a building with a steeple in the center with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background and the city to either side, a plane flying above and a boat in the water, text arching above and the date below.
