The front side of the coin shows the pier and yachts parked in the water, shown in an aerial view of the Santa Monica Pier, text curving around the border of the coin with a star on each side at the center. The backside of the coin depicts wavy text below and circular text surrounding the outside edge of the coin along with a beaded border, a female lying in the center of the coin with the pier shown in the background.
