The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Christopher Columbus 1492 Chicago, U.S.A 1892. The front side of the coin shows a bust of Christopher Columbus dressed in a ruffled collared shirt and facing the left, text surrounding his head and the location located below his neck. The backside of the coin depicts a uniface design that his no reverse, there is not even a visible beaded border.
