The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Souvenir of Hawaii The 49th State and the reverse text is Lolani Palace Capitol bldg, Hula Girl, Aloha Tower, Surf Riding Waikki. The front side of the coin shows text surrounding the inner figure of a statue standing on a pedestal with the right arm lifted up, two stars to the left and right. The backside of the coin depicts a Palace at the top, hula girl to the right, surfer at the bottom, and a tower to the left with a shield and descriptive text in the center of the coin.
