The reverse text is South Carolina Interstate and West Indian Exposition 1901-1902 Charleston S.C.. The front side of the coin shows a female angle standing in front of several modes of transportation, a train, ship, globe and boat all appear either below or behind the woman, rays coming from her crown. The backside of the coin depicts text in several lines above stalks of corn and flowers towards the bottom right edge of the dollar.
