The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Louisiana Purchase Exposition Vive La Republique 1803 1903 1803 1904 St. Louis and the reverse text is World’s Fair St. Louis Cascade Gardens. The front side of the coin shows an eagle, flags and a wreath surrounding the image of two figures making a trade in the center, with text surrounding. The backside of the coin depicts a monument in the right, center of the coin with open water in the distance and a building surrounding the lake.
