The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Louisiana Purchase Exposition Vive La Republique 1803 1903 1803 1904 St. Louis and the reverse text is World’s Fair St. Louis Cascade Gardens. The front side of the coin shows two figures in the center trading a piece of paper for a bag of coins, with a wreath surrounding and flags below, text surrounding the entire scene. The backside of the coin depicts a large open courtyard in the center, with a tall monument in the forefront of the images and a building with columns in the background, text arching above.
