The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Panama Pacific Exposition San Francisco Mississippi’s Winners of the West 1915, Jefferson Davis 1846, John A. Quitman 1848 and the reverse text is Contribution of the Women of Mississippi, Mississippi Dollar Exhibit Fund. The front side of the coin shows two busts of Jefferson Davis and John Quitman facing the right side of the medal with text surrounding in a circular pattern and text to either side of their heads. The backside of the coin depicts a building in the center with a skinny border containing text.
