The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Sts. Phillip & James Church Rev. R.E. Burke, Rector Oct 12 1892 Phillipsburg, N.J and the reverse text is 1492 Columbus 1892 Souvenir Medal. The front side of the coin shows a bust in the center facing towards the right with two lines of text above and two lines of text below. The backside of the coin depicts a statue in the center of Christopher Columbus holding the globe in his hand with text and dates surrounding.
