The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Sts. Phillip & James Church Rev. R.E. Burke, Rector Oct 12 1892 Phillipsburg, N.J and the reverse text is 1492 Columbus 1892 Souvenir Medal. The front side of the coin shows a statue of Columbus in the center with a series of text surrounding and holding a globe in his hand. The backside of the coin depicts a bust of Reverend R.E. Burke in the center with two lines of curved text above and below his bust.
