The front side of the coin shows a building in the center at the International Expo in Philadelphia, the building shown is the Horticultural Building with flags coming from the top, text surrounding. The backside of the coin depicts dates at the top and the bottom, four lines of text in between and the engravers patent number listed at the bottom.
