The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Philadelphia Exposition Philadelphia PA, U.S.A. Sept. to Nov 1899 and the reverse text is National Export Exposition, Sep. 14 to Nov. 30 1899. The front side of the coin shows two female figures standing in the center, each with their arm resting on a shield in the center, which is the city shield for Philadelphia, with scales above and ribbons below, text surrounding.
