The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Trans-Mississippi Exposition Omaha 1898 and the reverse text is 1848. The front side of the coin shows the bust of a female facing the left with text surrounding the head and the date located below the shoulder. The backside of the coin depicts a horse and buffalo, with the rider of the horse killing the buffalo with his spear, date is located below.
