Value of 2008-P $1 Sacagawea Gold Dollar Coin
2008 marks the last year that the Philadelphia Mint struck standard Sacagawea coins. By this point, all the coins produced were being sold directly to collectors. So while the mintage figure is smaller than some previous years, these should all still be viewed as very common coins.
The back of the 2008-P Sacagawea gold dollar coin shows the classic patriotic image of a flying eagle surrounded by 17 stars. The obverse (aka the heads or front) of the coin has Sacagawea looking towards the viewer. Her infant son is strapped to her back.
