The Connecticut State Agricultural Society medals were struck intermittently from 1856-1859. The obverse displays the arms of Connecticut surrounded by the legend, “CONNECTICUT STATE AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY; INCOR MAY 1852.” The reverse displays a wreath of branches surrounding the legend which reads, “AWARDED TO” with space for an engraved name.
