The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads General Anthony Wayne, July 16th 1879 Centennial anniversary of the battle of Stony Point and the reverse text is Stony Point expugnatum XV July MDCCLXXIX. The front side of the coin shows two lines of text on the top and the bottom with a bust of Anthony Wayne in the center looking towards the left. The backside of the coin depicts a dock going into the lake with a mountain to the left and a single line of text arching above.
