This So-Called Dollar is given the catalog number HK-579c

The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads H.A.S. Rex King of Carnival, Monarch of Merriment and the reverse text is Pro Bono Publico New Orleans Mardi Gras. The front side of the coin shows dots making up the border surrounding the portrait of a King facing the left side of the medal, text above and below in a circular pattern. The backside of the coin depicts a shield with spears in the center and drapes coming from the top, two artist’s items below, a palette and a mask with text surrounding.
