In this extremely common date and mint mark, there were two varieties produced by the Mint. The more common of the 1979-P Susan B. Anthony Dollars, the narrow rim, can easily be found in grades higher than MS65. Not many of these coins ever make it to certification because of their low value. These coins are not made of silver, rather they were produced from copper.
